Tinley In-Tune Explained
Just as planning for a household involves setting sights on future aspirations, the Tinley Park Comprehensive Plan involves a similar mission for our community as a whole. This plan is our collective community blueprint. It will serve as a key reference for Village leadership and will inform decision-making. It will also ensure that development aligns with the Tinley Park community's vision and goals. This document is not a code or ordinance, but rather a roadmap for sustainable and balanced growth. How to Stay In-Tune

We will host a high-level visioning session called “Tinley Park Conversations” to build a foundation of knowledge from the perspective of the Tinley Park people. This event will feature interactive elements like a visioning booth and community open mic, along with other tools, all aimed at capturing the village’s aspirations. Through this gathering, we aim to grasp the community’s priorities and main concerns, which will play a central role in shaping the project brand and overall Comprehensive Plan.

We will present our initial findings and encourage community participation through interactive activities. This event is intended to reintroduce the planning process to the Tinley Park community and provide a casual platform for discussing the village’s planning challenges and opportunities in a “Speak-Out” format. During the open house, we will set up interactive planning issue booths, distribute written questionnaires, and facilitate visioning exercises.
